And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matthew 24:6, KJV)
Well, last night it happened. Vladimir Putin gave the order to invade Ukraine. In the pre-dawn hours Russia began missile strikes on Kiev and other Ukrainian cities. Even I thought that he may have been just testing the Biden Administration to see what we would do or to make us look even more foolish militarily, piling on the embarrassing withdrawal and defeat in Afghanistan.
Biden, or at least someone who wasn’t engaged in sleepy time like our listless and geriatric leader, released a statement. I agree with him that the prayers of this nation should be with the government and people of Ukraine. See the Biden statement here.
