“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).
It may be 2022, but we are in for much of the same thing as last year. We trust in God’s providence, and He is always in control, so we can find contentment and peace in knowing that we are not going to face anything “new” and all of the challenges will be met with Christ as our strength! Tribulations and temptations are going to happen, but we have a promise in Paul’s first epistle to the Corinthians. He writes: “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).
We are blessed and joyful to see souls get saved last month, and many more received the Gospel that can save their eternal souls! We must pray that the Holy Ghost will use our small work to bring these young men and women to saving faith in Jesus Christ sooner rather than later!
